Problem with Betryal
I have a serious problem with army betrayals. I can barely leave an army standing outside of cities without them turning traitors. Many times even with a general with moderately good loyalty. I have to have 2 generals (at least one with good loyalty, but I still don't trust him) leading an army, and this creates problems because my cities just stayed static.
What can I do to help with this problem? Thanks!

Re: Problem with Betryal
What is the Authority of your faction leader? The lower it is, the more risk you are taking by allowing captains or low Loyalty generals to lead armies in the field. What do you define as good Loyalty (what you consider good may not be in the case of low Authority)? In order to increase the faction leader's Authority, he needs to be active in the field, fighting battles and conquering settlements, not loafing about a settlement all of the time.

Thanks! What I consider to be moderately loyal would be around 4 or 5.

Build some forts on stratetic points on the map (like close to an enemy settlement you want to take) and leave your troops there. They will not rebel in a fort.
