    Default Editing officers

I created a unit for Sylvania which contains of Blood dragons with three officers (the models are Mannfred, and two Crypt keepers). How do I edit the strength of the officers, I have already edited the unit but cant find the officers in any file. The ideal would be to add them as characters since that wont brake the campaign.

Any help would really be appreciated.

By officers do you mean general? If so, you add the "general_unit" tag into the attributes of the unit in export_descr_units. Otherwise I think the officers have the same attributes as the rest of the unit.

By officer i mean adding the line "officer" directly under "soldier" in descr_unit_export, then writing the name of an other unit i.e Blood_dragon. I created a unit of vampire lord, and though it would be fun to have the officers be a bit different maybe even have some special abilities i.e launching or armor pen.

But do the officer use the statistics from the unit they are in or from their original unit. I noticed that when vampire mages were in a unit as officers they did not fire their missiles even if the unit they were in fired missiles, i.e crossbows.

wow.. for me is an arcane, but basically can you create an unit with Super Huge Stats composed by 1 Model? Just the general You can put him in the middle of an Unit i mean an Unit Called Grimgor Ironhide composed by 1 model (with his skin but with some huge stats) you can put him in a Unit of Black Orcs Destroyed and Connect the units with the Flags..

basically are you able to Use a Hero? can you try it ? or can you explain how to do it?

Yes, they won't use different features, just look at ranged general unit, the general won't use bow. I would pressume they have same stats as the unit. I might be wrong tought.

Making single unit has been a "holygrail" of M2, alongside of custom settlements forever, tought I think they both got solution recently. I think for example Steamtank is a "singleman" unit in the campaign, not sure tought, and not sure how one would do it..
