Renaming settlements.

I know this feature was available in MTW2 but id like it to be also available in RTW2 because in a Roman campaign id like to rename the settlements to the accurate Roman names that they used instead of the "Barbaric" names that they were called before they were Romanized.

Yes this add to help make the campaign more personalized. Anything like that is a plus in my book.

yea things like that are a fun add-on to the game, plus is historical so the history people cant complain about inaccuracy.

Or having an absolutely epic conqueror and renaming the last settlement he conquers before dying after him. I call that Egopolis.

Or adapting the name of the settlements to the languague of the conqueror, as the guy up there says.

YES ! I also did this quite a lot actually. It just adds to the immersion.

i love the name changing in Med 2. Wish they'd kept it from the Warscape games.

It could be automatic. For example if you conquer london with rome, it would change name to Londinium (Loutetia for paris and so on). There are many mods for Medieval 2 that do this. So a combination of being able to name the settlements yourself and
changing names automatically as you conquer would be ideal for me
