    Default Cyclic redudancy on install

Ok, i bought medieval 2 and i get ''cyclic redundancy'' near the end of the install. It was brand new and i assumed it was just down to the disc. I bought a new one and it does the exactly the same thing, but at a different stage. After blowing and wiping it, it went a bit further through the install but it still persisted.

Any ideas of what it is? I don't think a brand new disc with even a few scratches would have this problem.

Assuming Win 7 or vista, disable the UAC and install in C:\Games.
