    Default Something Strange about Lakedaemon

I was looking around the EB 1.2 map and noticed that the southernmost tip of Lakedaemon has 3 tiles from 3 different Greek-related territories, Ambrakia, Krete, and some other Ptolemy-owned province (the one in Anatolia).

My question was why exactly was this done? Was there some sort of hidden reason for this? Just curious is all.

Historically i believe it was a gathering point for mercenaries and this allows 4 different mercenary recruiting zones in a small area.
Were there but a tree in this godforsaken place i would have hanged myself.

Yes, it's historically a place where mercenaries gathered, so it's a place you can go to get a very wide variety of mercenary troops to recruit.
