    Default Commands in M2TW

A few weeks ago I posted a question on the Total War forum, whether the devs would include foreign voices for their commands during battle. But then I saw the movie with a man shouting 'Fire' next to a battery of cannons, and they were Turks.
Now, this could mean that they are going to stick to English and with accents.

A couple of days ago, however, I bought the Era pack (luckily I could sell most of my old Total War games), and heard that in MTW there are Latin, Arabic and Russian! voices (I had totally forgotten that). If not included in the newcoming M2TW, would you able to change that you think, add it the folders, or swap the files?
Off course, I'm getting to far ahead, as we still don't know what the final product will be, but I'm just so anxious :original: .

I think it will be possible by adding it to a folder in your main M2TW folder then in the sound txt folder manually replace sounds with your new ones..exactly like what you can do with RTW..so i guess its possible.

they are currently adding the foriegn voices to the game.

Its usualy the last thing to get added to a game before it releases.

Aha, Appius, you say 'most' of you . Anyway, it's to add to the atmosphere that you could include foreign voices. I don't like having my Khalif talk some strange English accent. The cultures of the world are to interesting to give it all an English flavour (and don't get me wrong, me loves English language too).

(I will be a little sarcastic if you would let me... not even a sarcastic, just a bit of joke, no biggie)
yeaaahhh be gone with your dratted English cosmopolitisation! we don't want your English!!! It is a USA's and UK's cultural expansionism!!! be gone with that.
we shall create world wide revolutionary force against you damn imperialists
ok ok, I aint spaming no more. the problem is that I would very much like to see that feature too, but you see, CA would never cope with that... so it is up to modders now

Common' let's have the factions speak in thier native tongue! I don't want my saracen general to exclaim in a cockney accent- 'Cor blimey! the bleedin' enemy has only gone and knocked the wall darn' or whatever.

The only voice I remember from MTW1 was that there would be a voice shouting in some language I could not understand at all, for every time archers released volleys of arrows. That really should have been in RTW, it sounded really nice. Centurions should have done that in RTW, given orders to charge and halt. I mean, there was a voice at least, but that sounded more like a feedback to the player instead of a order directed at the cohort.

But I'm happy as long as there are no G.I. Joes shouting "IMPERATOR!!!!" in my ear.

Sean Pertwee shouting 'Caynah intemnaty' or whatever the hell it was supposed to be when you fired arrows was the best.

All the roman voices should have been British because a) The British are synonimus with evil empire-builders and b) The posher accents exude arrogance and haughtiness.

Lol, yeah! Haven't you noticed how in American movies, serial killers (hannibal; Murdoc in MacGyver) and empire people (star wars) are British? In American logic, if you're intelligent or evil, you're automatically British.

You'd think considering the war of independence we'd be portrayed as bitter, upper-class losers but instead we're portrayed as bitter, upper-class tyrant-wannabees. On the plus side, I'm a actor and have a british accent so keep it coming...

EDIT- WOO HOO! 100th post! *crazy end-zone dance*
