Massacre in South African mine

From the North to the South, and especially in the South, mainly Angola and South Africa - these two countries and their quasi-fascist governments never cease to amaze me.

Now, it's too soon to know what really happened over there, but it amazes me that such a large police deployment didn't have, I don't know, riot control weaponry of some sort.

A hailstorm of lead over a group of unarmored men seems too much of an overkill to me.

Could do with a decent source (i.e. not youtube), a neutral description of the events so we all know roughly what happened, and fewer insults directed at other forum members. PM me if you want to improve this. Closed in the meantime.
