Okay,
1. How many trade ventures are allowed per term.
(keep in mind it has to reflect the same amount needed to compare to the income, if not MORE than Royal tax income)
2. How do we trade with Player chars? Why would a player need to purchase wine, textiles, silks, etc, etc? What purpose would player-to-player transactions serve in that sense?
- The only thing I can see here being anything near worthy to other players, is selling them something they can use to bolster their own incomes, or somehow selling them mercenary/and or soldiers services for cheaper than it costs to raise them in the List of Armies. Because that would make them look for business with merchants.
3. How do I trade? Caravans? Ships?
- It's been almost 3 weeks since the game launch, and none of this is instituted. Almost no trade aspects were even begun when the game was launched, I was expecting like boom right there day 1 game launches, I see the trade mechanics and I could start right away. In 1371, I had 4 provinces, and my overall income was 2,800. That's ridiculous lol, considering most Royals were making like Count/Duke promotions + Tax revenues, pulling in like 50k-80k for a year alone. I felt slighted by being allowed one trade roll (1,800 for a weapons sale to NPC), for 1371. Because I only make 1,000 per turn from being a Merchant anyways.
That's why I devised an elaborate, and expansive system of about 6-7 different fields to invest in for merchants so they could receive investment incomes. These were Mining, Farming, Fishing, Banking, Market sales, etc.
As of right now, there still are no official ship purchasing going on. Like RP is getting the the point where I need trade, I need ships, I need all this. We're on our 3rd year right now, and we'll be on our 4th soon. But I have no idea what my limitations are in trade. This stuff needs to get nailed down and going lol.
I chose the Path of Gold, and I wanna make me some epic moneyz.
