Two people, including a security guard, were reportedly shot this morning at the headquarters of the pro-life group Family Research Council.
According to information provided to LifeNews from a Washington pro-life source, a man posing as an intern shot the guard at the FRC office located at 801 G Street, NW.
Family Research Council President Tony Perkins confirmed the security officer was shot and said in a statement, “The police are investigating this incident. Our first concern is with our colleague who was shot today. Our concern is for him and his family.”
The guard is conscious and breathing.

The man then took out a gun and opened fire on the guard, Lanier said. The guard and others wrestled the man to the ground, disarmed him and waited for police, she said. The guard was then taken to the hospital and is in stable condition, the chief said.
The shooter is in FBI custody and has not yet been charged, authorities said.
“The security guard here is a hero, as far as I’m concerned,” Lanier said. ”He did his job. The person never made it past the front.”

This is the fruit of the apocalyptic and self-righteous rhetoric the proponents of the Gay movement use in their debates against Conservatives, which are painted as such devils that people like this shooter just decide that taking a gun is just what needs to be done.
It is time that that leftist drop their hateful rhetoric against Conservatives on the issue of Gay marriage, and it is ironic that despite all the babbling about violent Tea Party people people in the last 2 years we got a violent LGBT fanatic terrorist.
The investigation is still in course, and it seems that the FBI might brand this one as domestic terrorists.
Should the left tone down the rhetoric ?
Discuss.“Floyd Corkins was responsible for the wounding of one our colleagues and one of my friends yesterday here at the Family Research Council, but I believe he was given a license by a group such as the Southern Poverty Law Center, who, as you pointed out earlier, labeled us a hate group because we defend the family and we stand for traditional, orthodox Christianity,” Perkins said on Fox News. “It’s time for people to realize what the Southern Poverty Law Center is doing with their reckless labeling of organizations who they disagree with.”
