I would like your opinion about "Alexander" expansion. You see, i want to buy it but i need your personal opinions about bugs, historical accuracy, new units e.t.c.

    Looking forward to your answers.

Buy it. I realy love it. The units are the best CA has done so far, some of the Persian units such as the Phyrgian mercs, and Macedonian units such as the Companions, Hypaspists and Alexander himself are very good. The map is very misshapen, but is made like that so you can actually conquer it in the 100 turn time limit. The campaign is a real challenge, you cannot stop and consolidate your gains as Alexander, you have to keep on going if you are to have any chance of winning. The historical battles are tough, there are 6 in total which are unlocked one after the other. From what i know the units are more accurate than what Ca did in RTW:BI or RTW, but not as accurate as those done by modders. Apart from a few of the RTw 1.5 bugs, there are no others.

Theres mine it improves the gameplay and many things, removes the 100 turn limit. Changes the clours of illyria, guals, and scythia, new units. With some help a new campaign map, new factions including india and greek city states and more if the historians find info on more, and much more.

Theres also BKB mod but you will like mine.

I bought it after I was unsure for a while. Eventually I just said, oh well. It's only 15 dollars. But I think that it was worth it. AS said before, the untis (expecially the new hopilite) are great, the persians are awsome, and Battles are even better. Lots of great new features that you'll find when you play it as well

Buy it..i felt battles are longer than vannilla..and the historical battles rock! Units are very good as lusted said..and mods may improve it..but it was also nice with no modification.
