Political College Essay Tips?
Attempting to write an essay about a political cause I am invested in, problem is I cannot choose. I was considering doing one about Bachmann and other conservatives demonization of Islam, but did not know where to look for sources, figured too many people would write about the dream act, and deemed my case for a nuclear Iran too controversial. Any ideas about anything fresh and relevant or sources on such issues?

If it seems too controversial, then you've found your topic.

I think this would have been better shelved under 'personal help'....
Here's the thing I wonder every time someone solicits help for a school assignment: have you not tried talking to your professor or TA (if you have TA's in that course)? These are the people who are supposed to give you guidance regarding course work, especially since that they will be the ones evaluating the quality of your work. Wouldn't they be better suited in offering advice on how you should structure your assignment? What was the essay question(s)? Or are the students expected to structure their own research question as part of the assignment?

Press releases are a good start.....
I wrote a paper about Newt and basically watched tapes of him and dug up press releases and such....
I personally would choose a controversial topic though, course do it in a tasteful manner
