All the names of everything appears

While on the campaign map, the names of every general, agent or whatever it is suddenly appears without me even mousing over them, which causes a huge fuzz. Can someone please help me and find a way to make it so that these names only appear when I actually mouse over and click on them?

Open up your config file and there should be a line that says something like label_characters. Set the value of that to 0.

Hey Helmersen.
You have accidentally pressed ctrl+n. Just press it again and the nametags will go away.
