The Duke of Bohemia meets with the Queen of Naples

After spending a day in Naples, Magnus z Lotrinske heads to see the Queen at her palace. It was surprising that he would ever consider doing this...but it was worth a shoot. The Duke told the guards of his business here. After this, the Duke of Bohemia entered the palace in Naples. He would approach the throne where Joan I sat with her husband, James IV of Majorca. Magnus bends one knee and bows before the ruling sovereigns of the Kingdom of Naples.

Your Highness, Queen Joan Anjou, Noble Queen of Naples. It is an honor to have my request for an audience with you to be accepted, Your Highness. Magnus then sees the seat and walks over to it, taking his seat then. He remains silent for now...unsure if he should speak first or if the Queen of Naples was going to.

Magnus takes in a deep breath before speaking.

Under the advice and suggestion of His Majesty, Kaiser Alexander I, King of the Romans and Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire...he suggested that I, Magnus z Lotrinske, son of Frederick II z Lotrinske, Duke of Bohemia, Elector of the Empire and direct descendant of the last King of Bohemia, Magnus IV z Lotrinske...seek out a bride of noble birth and heart. And this noble woman that the Kaiser suggested was Your Highness's daughter, Catherine of Naples.

No, it is my own desire, Your Highness...I have heard much of Catherine, from stories told here in Naples and from the Kaiser...and I desire to wed her. I feel that she is the woman I have been waiting to meet my entire life, Your Highness.
