Right so i got a new pc a little while ago but only started again on EB lat week. The thing i've noticed is on my old pc (a 7 year old XPS that held up pretty well, it could still run crysis on good settings) there was rarely any vassals created on the XPS but on my new machine there are loads, the Romans at one point had the Aedui and Epirotes under their boot (sandal) until the growing hegemony of the Macedonians (who had already got the Getai sworn to them) stole the Epirotes away.
It's made for an interesting game since those factions that were weaker and made vassals have survived and managed to expand instead of being wiped out (also it's awesome that the Aedui are vassals of Rome since it's historically accurate but not scripted).
The thing i don't get is how it has happened? It's the same campaign code, the same engine (ALX), in fact it's a direct copy of the game from my old XPS (i really didn't want to go through installing it all over again), yet the mechanics of the game have completely changed.
