Default New PC, new campaign, new game

Right so i got a new pc a little while ago but only started again on EB lat week. The thing i've noticed is on my old pc (a 7 year old XPS that held up pretty well, it could still run crysis on good settings) there was rarely any vassals created on the XPS but on my new machine there are loads, the Romans at one point had the Aedui and Epirotes under their boot (sandal) until the growing hegemony of the Macedonians (who had already got the Getai sworn to them) stole the Epirotes away.

It's made for an interesting game since those factions that were weaker and made vassals have survived and managed to expand instead of being wiped out (also it's awesome that the Aedui are vassals of Rome since it's historically accurate but not scripted).

The thing i don't get is how it has happened? It's the same campaign code, the same engine (ALX), in fact it's a direct copy of the game from my old XPS (i really didn't want to go through installing it all over again), yet the mechanics of the game have completely changed.
Were there but a tree in this godforsaken place i would have hanged myself.

Clearly your nano-build rig got hit by subatomic particles from cosmic ray and that caused malfunctions in logic operations that surprisingly led to improve the AI in your campaign!

I just can't see any other reason

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
seriously I have no idea, but good for you! In my current campaing Aedui were eradicated so quickly
Sorry for my bad english , I don't mind correcting!

this is very interesting....i guess it could be down to random chance or.....different computers equal different processing of the mod.....hmmmmm....very interesting indeed....i guess you could re start some dummy campaigns just to see what happens

I tested it with an old campaign and it seems to happen in them aswell (though less so since there are fewer factions still around in these). It's bizarre (and great ), it's like my i5 just looked at the code and said "vassals=yes". As you say it could be chance but it seems more common and logical than that (factions that are weaker in an area of influence switch vassalage when another power starts to rise closer to them.
