Yes, that would be nice.
It's a must, is practically a standard now.

Quite simply am not paying full price for Rome 2 unless it's done (multi-core support) and I suggest everyone else does the same.
I got shogun2 and fots but am drawing the line. (have paid full price for all the past release as well).
Will be interesting to see if Jack or Craig can answer this apart from the most users are on 32 bit excuse or budget excuses.
I have seen crappier ports that are better optimised.

From the steam survey only 31% of steam users own a 32 bit windows OS.
http://store.steampowered.com/hwsurvey
J. Lusted said that will not be a 64 bit version since they don't want to exclude these users from buying the game (maybe you can find its post in ca modding summit thread).
In my opinion this is completely non-sense since:
*This 31% will be a lot lower in late 2013/begin 2014 (considering also the new release of W8)
*The amount of this 31% that is interested in total war is very low since 32 bit users generally have crappier and older pcs than 64 bit ones.
*Doing a 64 bit version doesn't prevent to make a 32 bit one (see crysis).
*A part of this 31% that owns a 32 bit OS has also a 64 bit one: for example i have a notebook with w7 32 bit and a desktop with w7 64 bit, and i use steam in both.

are the other games not x64? haven't really paid attention tbh
I can't think of many games native 64 bit, and 64 bit is only faster if you are running extremely precise floating number calculations. Does a game do this?
Many games wouldnt benefit massively from being 64 bit
Bumping this because it's of vital importance that CE is made aware that this should be available. We really need to move into the 64-bit era... we're like 7 years late!
Its easy to make war with others, its never been easy when we need a peace.
My holy damn simple tactic; Strike First, Strike HARD and SHOW NO MERCY.
of all your games in your steam library, how many are 64 bit?
Since this question has already been answered by CA and the answer is no, I am closing this.
