    Icon1 Remergent Factions question

Hello, I'm posting because I can't find anything on the forums for these questions. I am playing Denmark in an early era campaign 6.4 and control Jerusalem and Gaza. I'm not sure which options I chose as far as AI when I installed the mod, I think it was the one that gives good balance between peace and war.
Jerusalem and Gaza are bordering Sicilian and Papal states territories (both allies) and bordering the Fatamids who we are at war with. The Crusader states were destroyed about 35 turns ago and now in winter of 1193 a Crusader states priest and two of their merchants are standing outside of Jerusalem. I have scouted the regions near Jerusalem but no Crusader states leaders/army in sight. Is there anyway I can assist getting them back into the game? Is there a reason I see no faction leader and army for them? I have also noticed earlier in my campain that Portugal who was destroyed as a faction very early in the campaign has twice now now come back but all I see are the messages at the start of a new turn about their faction leader and heir destroyed. The Iberian Peninsual is likely all controled by the Moors

I adore this wonderful mod thanks so much!

Ok firstly, faction that have been destroyed cannot re-emerge in SS 6.4, that is a feature that is going to be implemented in SS 7.0 so the constant showing of Portugal being destroyed is probably a bug. I experienced the same thing in 6.3 but since changing to 6.4 that hasn't happened since to my advice would be to re-install the game if you want although it's nothing to demanding for your attention.

Now as for the destroyed factions agents lingering about, I have the same thing too and it's most definitely a glitch in the game where any leftover agent that destroyed faction had made prior to losing will remain. The bad thing about them is they don't move and the DON'T AGE!!!! However you'll thankfully find no more than 3 agents leftover for any destroyed faction and also they have no skill whatsoever so for example their priest will have 0 piety so you can get rid of them by using a fine assassin's blade > or with the merchant you can perform an acquisition on them. So in the end they are good practice for your agents and shouldn't be feared for any manner, so do with them what you will

I don't know ... I think it's a common bug (I also have it) and you don't fix it by reinstalling the game.

In fact, they reappear every 20 turns or so (I think they were meant to help the AI because he doesn't train so many agents, but it got bugged and they will spawn even if their faction is destroyed). But I agree, they are good for leveling up your own agents.

Well the destroyed faction statement has only appeared for me once since any faction gets crushed, so it's definitely fixed for me since changing to 6.4. And if the AI agents are supposed to appear every 20 turns why are they given 0 skill??? or is it just due to the faction being destroyed
