    Default Ship Levies

    Must be decided..

    I propose...

Galley (most commonly used war vessel in the Mediterranean in this time period)

Cog (A predominately Baltic ship, as it was generally made from oak, the abundant timber in the Prussia region)

Balinger (Small vessel used for coastal trading, and transport ship)

Any other ideas? we need to get the ball rolling.. A Mediterranean Merchant Langraviate without ships makes me a sad panda.

    Here's the path.
Get some good pictures for the types.
Contact Lucius to set prices and stuff for the ships. As he has done other troops, he can best balance it.

Did you get my PM with the ships? I will post pictures tomorrow, unfortunately I do not have photoshop on this computer, but I shall get pictures up.

I proposed prices, but I believe I overshot them, the economy is not high enough to reflect initial buying prices on the ones I proposed.. So in that case we can arrange it. I know LM has read it, but he has not responded yet. I asked him several questions in fact he has not responded to any...

I will wait for the pictures. Also, give him some time, LM is busy with RL.

I've narrowed it down right now to Galley's predominately in Mediterranean, and Cogs in Baltic.. There''s very little info on other ships of the period (some upgrades come in the 1400's, but we're not there yet)

Predominately I know Venice and Genoa fought with period-fit Galley's mostly. Other ships would be rare additions.

This could make it quite simple for us I suppose

Yes, we do need ships, though I think cogs should be able to double as merchant ships. Could we also have a population of ships for each seaside area that we may press into service and man with troops?

Two main ships, What you guys think??
    Galley

    Mostly for Mediterranean seafarers

    Cog

    Mostly for Baltic seafarers
