Beowulf And Grendel

So anyone else see it ?
It was a good movie naturally you cant expect blockbuster quality for it but its a good watch non the less, i enjoyed the Humor most.

Adapted from the Anglo-Saxon epic poem, Beowulf, BEOWULF & GRENDEL is a medieval adventure that tells the blood-soaked tale of a Norse warrior's battle against the great and murderous troll, Grendel. I love that book. How come I've never heard of the film before?

Its a good movie everyone who likes Viking should see it.

Looks pretty well recreated from those pictures. I havent seen it myself just remember seein something bout it on the internet. When did it come out? an was it at the cinema you seen it? or was it a straight to dvd movie?

Ya i have seen it on a DvD , dont know wheather its in the cinema or not but its been out for some time now i think, the publishers had some trouble and delayed the US launch but i think its out now.

Its a good story i liked it, but u cant expect BLock Buster quality from it,but its a good watch non the less, i especially like the viking humour in it.

I never heard of this film. I'll have to check it out. The only screen depiction I've seen of Beowulf was on Xena and that was totally horrible. Xena made him look like a chump.

Pah thats why never watch Xena , that shows ruines everying from Ceaser to Achillies to Odesseus, hell there's even an Aztec like Killer tribes who Xena makes a fool out of.

If you've seen the 13th warrior starring Antinio Bandaras then youll propably have a little idea about beowulf and grendel, its the oldest written document in britan, about the 5th century hero beowulf or beowolf in english.

A link to the orginal manuscript, although the movie differe's from the manuscript showing that Grendel was infact the innerworkings of grendel and how he came to be a killer and it portrays a very human Beowolf struggling to cope up with whats going on around him.
