    Default Error/CTD after taking settlemetnt

    I don't usually bother reporting crashes (especially battle map crashes) since I can reload and they usually go away. But I was able to replicate this one, so I suppose it's something more important.

    Settings:

    SS 6.4, Early campaign, Gracul AI, Permanent Arrows, Longer Assimilation
    No submods installed

    Turn 15 as England. I had beseiged Scotland's two last remaining settlements. Whichever I take last (to vanquish the faction) causes an unspecified error and crashes the game. I've fought the other battle and left you with one that you can AR. Carshes when you click the Occupy Settlement button.

    That's what I get for not blitzing the Scotts right away.

    System.log:

    00:27:49.054 [system.rpt] [always] CPU: SSE2
    00:27:49.064 [system.rpt] [always] ==== system log start, build date: Feb 25 2008 version development ===

    00:27:49.064 [system.io] [always] mounted pack packs/localized.pack
    00:28:21.144 [system.rpt] [error] Medieval 2: Total War encountered an unspecified error and will now exit.

    Save + log file here.

    Hi, logs are no use, as you can see, unless you enable them for full logging. Otherwise they show nothing of value.

    You need to change it like this before you run into error:

    edit default.cfg file in ss6.3 folder and make the log section look like this:

    [log]
    to=mods/SS6.3/system.log.txt
    ;level=* error
    level=* trace
