Oh! I've got a hard question. The actor who played Tuvok on Voyager, what other sci-fi movie was he in? Hint: a comedy

Is that him? It's so hard to imagine Tuvok without that dumb-assed haircut of his. He needed a bigger comb to comb the desert with.
I always wondered - the Vulcans are super-strong, super-intelligent, super-discplined, logical and rational, and believe in peace and prosperity and long-life and all that stuff, and they have limited psychic powers also, and live for almost twice as long as humans can in the future - in short, they are superior to humans in every conceivable way. Yet they are the junior partner in the Federation instead of being its rulers. They always take orders from humans, and generally grab their ankles whenever a human snaps a command to them. and are generally just weak. What's the matter with them? Why don't they take their balls out of their purses?
I just saw those ENT 'Mirror Universe' episodes and they were far more interesting than the actual ENT series. The alternate intro showing the history-of-man stream from ever more advanced weapons instead of explorers was good, and didn't have 'Faith of the Heart' on it, which is a bonus for everything that does not in fact have 'Faith of the Heart' attached. And, of course, it gave Linda Park a chance to show off her midriff and to prove that she is 10 times sexier than T'Pol, and also to have a semi-nude babe-fight with knives.
The Gorn was a hell of a lot faster than the one I remember from TOS. Presumably Kirk's opponent there suffered from chronic arthritis.

To comment on your first statement about Vulcans. Just think, Vulcans don't have the intuition, the drive, the courage, the risk taking that humans do. That is why they are "always" under human authority in the Federation. Why were Kirk and Picard given the captain's chair? Because they took risks and sometimes thought "illogically".

I always liked the romulans and thought that Star Trek should have always done more with them that what they have done. They are basically have a lot of those qualities yet are the exact opposite in behavior. I was hoping that ENT would continue simply because they were turning their focus on to them.I always wondered - the Vulcans are super-strong, super-intelligent, super-discplined, logical and rational, and believe in peace and prosperity and long-life and all that stuff, and they have limited psychic powers also, and live for almost twice as long as humans can in the future - in short, they are superior to humans in every conceivable way. The war that ends with the creation of the Federation is the war against the Romulans, it would of been an awesome show if that was to be the next storyline.

The Vulcans are junior partners in the Federation? That's weird, because I thought the Federation was all about equality, with no species above the other, complete with annual coombyah singing on every starship and whatnot.
The trouble with fighting for human freedom is that one spends most of one's time defending scoundrels. For it is against scoundrels that oppressive laws are first aimed, and oppression must be stopped at the beginning if it is to be stopped at all.
H. L. Mencken
It just seems that humans run everything because almost all characters are human aside from certain token characters.
The Vulcans I expect are not interested in exploration and more into things like science so it makes sense them not being on the show in large numbers.

Yes. By an entertainment standpoint I believe we can all see why Vulcans and other races were always portrayed as the juniors on the ship. If TOS had Spock captaining the ship it would have been quite boring!

Yeah, that is exactly what I was thinking. Spock would see some nebula or stellar anomaly, get curious, examine it, and then say "astonishing" or something else. BORING!

I didn't like how since the vulcans were the logical species suddenly every damn federation human Captain had to be illogical. That's not very captain like imo.
It has been surmised, that perhaps, my lord had become like a wild animal that had been kept too long. Perhaps, but whatever... freedom... so long an unremembered dream, was his.
The children of Doom...Doom's children. They told my lord the way to the mountain of power. They told him to throw down his sword and return to the earth...HA!! time enough for the earth in the grave.
Vulcans worshipped logic. They did not necessarily obey it.
It is a common Trekkie misconception that Vulcans are logical. They advertise themselves as being logical, but that doesn't mean it's true. They think that "unemotional" is the same as "logical", which is the greatest conceit of the idea of Vulcans. Logic has to do with the integrity of reasoning connecting premise to conclusion, and it has nothing to do with emotional states. It is quite possible to say something that is totally logical while in a highly agitated emotional state, and it is also quite possible to say something that is totally illogical in a very calm, measured tone of voice. Yes, people in a heightened emotional state are less likely to employ sound logic, but that doesn't mean the two concepts are intrinsically linked, or that one necessarily becomes logical if he suppresses his emotions.
In the pre-eminent case of human superiority demonstrated over Vulcan logic (I believe the episode name was "Galileo 7", Spock was actually being very illogical.

But that wouldn't be Spock's human side coming out when he was illogical would it?
