Negotiation of Lands (Event for Stig, Cpt.Wsq, Robert "Curthose", Brewster and Rhapture)

[General Brewster]

The following lords are summoned to negotiate with the emperor in secret. In the private quarters of the Emperor.

- Count Chris Van Isendoorn of Zeeland
- Count Robert Kirk of Holland
- Count Karl Von Klaus of Ostenreich
- Count Heinrich I von Wittelsbach of Frisia
- Count Friedrich I of Mecklenburg

[Gandalfus]

Robert arrives, dressed in his finest clothing. He had largely recovered from his Ilness, but he kept his dagger in his sheath just in case anyone should try and take advantage of his weakened state.

[Jokern]

Count Heinrich of Frisia arrives does a light bow to Count Chris.

Count Chris, I thank you for the invitation to these negotiations. I pray that they end well and without bloodshed.

[General Brewster]

I hope so to.

Chris looks in discus to Robert.

[Gandalfus]

Robert looks at the man, with a look of comptempt.
What a sad, strange man. He believes my lands are his birthright.
However, he forced a smile.
I thank you as well, count Chris, for this invitation. One cannot go attacking men willy nilly, hmm?

[Rhapture]

Count Friedrich never shows up, his absence unexplained to the other men.

[The Stig]

Karl finally arrived, having a much longer way to come than any of the others.

There is a sudden distraction, 50 Gothic knights take positions in the camp where negotiations are taking place. The reason for the appearance is soon evident. Three men come striding in the camp.
Kaiser Alexander looking exceptionally angry, the King of England looking wary, and the Envoy of King of France looking very smug.

[The Stig]

Count Karl, remaining cool and collected, bows his head slightly to Alexander.

"Mein Kaiser..."

[Gandalfus]

Robert bowed stiffly, his back still affected by his recent illness.
Your Imperial Majesty.

[Jokern]

Heinrich bows deeply, becoming much serious.

Your Imperial manesty.

[Gandalfus]

Robert smirked at the count of Frisia.
Manesty. Pfft.
He thought

Heinrich, quickly realising his mistake, corrects himself.

Excuse me, your Imperial majesty.

Alexander nods politely to all people. He turns towards Robert.
My apologies, Count Robert. I hope you are well. I could not visit you in illness as I was called to France, as the King wished to speak to me on urgent matters. Well, I will let the Envoy tell about it.
As you all are clearly aware, we are joined by the King of England and Comte St.Just, the Envoy to the King of France.

The Envoy gives a little bow, then begins in a clearly smug voice.
Mon Roi wished to speak to the Kaiser about some disturbing news. Our spies told us about a clandestine meeting of one of your Count with the King of England.
He gives the King a little bow.
Our spies said that the King agreed to loan English troops to a Count against another, in exchange for the imperial army to invade France. My liege simply wished to remind the Kaiser about his promise of not interfering in our war.

Alexander, his expression stony.
Well?

[Gandalfus]

Robert is puzzled. He clearly knows nothing about this.
I thank you for your concern Mein Kaiser, but I know nothing about this agreement.
He turns to chris.
Do you?

[General Brewster]

I agreed to sending him troops. However imperial where not mentioned.

Just as the King of England seemed to come with a retort, Alexander cut across him, in a crisp icy voice.
Enough! This is not the time or place to squabble over trivialities. We will carry this negotiations like Royals.
Count Robert! Count Chris has a proposition for you, establish elsewhere or fight.
I have no wish to let soldiers die for dynastic feuds.

He continued in a dangerous voice.
Not in my reign, at the very least.

After a brief pause, he spoke again in a calm voice.
So, Count Robert, if you indeed establish elsewhere, I will have a proposition for you. Would you accept it, then?

[General Brewster]

Yes my lord. I will protect the man with my armies as long as is needed.

[Gandalfus]

Robert frowned.
If Lord Warmongerer over here would have simply let Holland go...
Alas, I fear that due to my Absence I am ill-prepared for such a war. Therefore I have no choice but to accept.
