Help ! i have Medieval II: Total War - Gold Edition and all was great but after time i got an error -Medieval 2: Total War encountered an unspecified error and will now exit. it happens after i push - start battle button no matter which fild or soldiers or factions it just not starting ...but in camping all works great ....

Had the exact same problem! Did you unpack the text files? There's one in there you have to delete, otherwise it messes with the battles. Not sure what it is, I'll find out

Many custom battles are bugged. Vanilla? Knigdoms? A mod?

Raubak, if you unpacked the text files, then delete the two 'geography' files from there. That should make it work

2IX Varangian Cohort: or i stupid and could not to do unpacked ... even though all the instructions carefully read ... and I start unpack all from folder tools/unpacker/unpack_all but after in data folder nothing new exist -it not unpacked ...so what i do wrong?
