Well, this would be some kind of continuation to the blackwater thread.
What would have happened if Bran did not had the foolish notion of climbing the tower(of doom)?
Would the realm be at peace?

No the letter from Lysa Arryn started the war but Cat wouldn't of grabbed Tyrion Ned wouldn't of been stabbed and would of led the force to the river lands to kill Gregor and ran into the Lannister ambush dieing there or barely escaping
Pretty sure we'd still have a war thanks to Varys turning everyone one against the other.
I remember reading some plan devised by Tywin to lure Ned out into the open by using the Mountain but wasn't that to use him as leverage to get Tyrion back?
Tyrion wouldn't have arrived at the Eyrie and thus would never have met Bronn.
Cersei would have still killed Ned and brought the kingdoms into war. Catelyn wouldn't have been in the South so Brienne would have died accused of killing Renly. Maybe diplomacy between the Twins Robb wouldn't result in Robb getting promised.
Just in case

Some battles are won with swords and spears, others with quills and ravens. Tywin Lannister
Maybe go back to then Tywin tried to merry Cersei with the crown prinse.
if that happened, no civil war.

So, Bran is still alive, he goes south with Eddard Stark.
Changes:
Because Bran is not injured Joffrey does not send an assassin.
Because there is no assassin Cat stays at Winterfell.
Because Cat stays at Winterfell Tyrion is never taken prisoner.
Because Tyrion is never taken prisoner Tywin does not start raiding the riverlands and Jaime does not attack the Stark party.
Because Tywin does not begin his raids Eddard does not try and send anyone to stop him.
Because Jaime does not stop the Stark party at the brothel Eddard makes it back to the castle.
Eddard and Robert have their chat about his children being bastards borne of incest.
Robert has his guards execute Cersei, Jaime and their children (Or) he thinks he is an great fighter and instead gets killed by Jaime.
The former ends with Tywin rebelling and being crushed by the combined might of the other lords under Robert bringing peace. Robert also weds Magaery Tyrell (Renly was about to make this happen when certain events started by Eddard ruined it)
The latter ends in a massive civil war over who should be the king.
"I, Pinkie Pie, declare that these treats are fit for a king, or a queen, or a princess!"
"Me? Ruin? I'm not the ruiner, I'm the ruinee! Or is it ruinness? Ruinette?"
"She's ahead of the litter all right. The pick of the litter. The cat's pajamas. Oh wait. Why would Applejack take some poor kitty's pj's? That's not very sporting of her."
"More balloons! No, that's too many balloons. More candy! No, less candy. Ooh! I know! Streamers!"
"Oh my gosh. Hold on to your hooves – I am just about to be brilliant!"
Robert wasn't stupid, he knew damn well he was in no state to fight the bloody Kingslayer. If Ned told him about Cersei, he would have Cersei and Jaime on the chopping block. I imagine he would send the children back to Casterly Rock, to live their lives in shame, but if the people objected he would cut their heads off too.
And even if Robert died while battling Jaime, the Lannisters would still be screwed, because every loyal subject of Westeros would work to avenge him, and the disloyal ones would tag along for rewards later on.
Still, there is a 50 % chance that The War of Five Kings happens again if Jaime slays Robert![]()
If the former happened its very doubtful that Tywin would rebel outright, even all the gold in Casterly Rock couldn't buy enough sellswords to resist Robert and the other 6 kingdoms.Robert has his guards execute Cersei, Jaime and their children (Or) he thinks he is an great fighter and instead gets killed by Jaime.

The latter would end with a civil war similar to the five kings except Ned would support Stannis and thus the Starks and Tullys would be on Stannis' side, Renly would still marry Margery and Tywin still backs Joffrey. The Greyjoys wouldn't try independence just yet.
I think that Tywin would rebel, he practically did it in the War of the Five Kings, He sent Jaime to attack the Riverlands because his least favourate son was taken hostage. I can imagine that he is not likely to sit down and do nothing if his son, daughter, grandson's and granddaughter were executed.
P.S. Someone mentioned that Robert would send the children to Casterly Rock but I believe Eddard Stark notes at one point that Robert would kill the children for being a taint on his honour.
Jose, the latter in your post would only happen if Eddard Stark got away. If he was captured and executed chances are the war would go pretty much the same way as it did in the books.

I agree, Tywin isn't an idiot, i think Robert would get killed one way or another. If anyone in Westeros has the money and the "political personality" to hire a Faceless Man, it's Tywin Lannister.
While a strong possibility it ends with the same result, Stannis would be the confirmed heir and most of the realm will accept him forcing the rest to do so too. We both know that Stannis will want to find out who killed his brother and he is a far more dangerous adversary than Robert.
