    Default Unpacking Files problem

Hey, I have tried to unpack my files, but the unpacking tools isnt in the data/tool folder and I figured out it was because I had Windows 7. I did what the guy said in this tutorial: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=449513 and disabled the UAC, but it still wont appear in the /data folder... Can anyone help me?

Note I use Steam if that matters!

Have you looked int the virtual store?

I assume the path would be users\username\appdata\roaming\the creative assembly\medieval ii taking after ETW's path.

You will have to unhide allfiles, folders. and drives in Folder Options first to get there.

Yeah, nothing there... I found the Creative Assembly folder but only ETW was there...

For me I think the Medieval 2 Virtual Store folder is located at appdata\local\virtualstore\Program Files (x86)\SEGA\Medieval II Total War

But I don't have the Steam version. So maybe you should also check if there's a Steam folder instead of the SEGA folder.

Could be. I don't have the Steam version to check it out.

Search for data and see how many data folders show up and where.
