Most likely, sure... Guess it partly depends on release date. Even though I want the game ASAP, I'd actually be okay if they waited 'til the end of 2013 just to make sure they can get everything polished and fully implemented like they envision. This is probably the most ambitious Total War yet.
I'm almost certain something will be shown at E3. The game will at the very least be mentionned or talked about and I wouldn't be suprised with some more promotional content. Considering they announced the game so early, they want the game to be hyped, which means they have to keep reminding people about it and keep people excited.
You might see it earlier

It better be out before E3 2013
Way too early......though I suppose it may show up.....
You know ROME being the Total war that gave it's international fame...
I wouldn't be surprised if the didn't give some sort of pompous introduction....
Cause I have to admit just the live action trailer was quite a shocker.....I can already imagine all the marketing theater they could do for ROME II
With £100 million invested in CA, I bet you that SEGA will want CA to display Rome 2 at E3. SEGA is really hoping that CA can bring them the cash they need so badly, E3 brings the game to attention to people who aren't already into Total War. It's much faster than say, word of mouth or Steam sales.
