Default Other mods to make the game harder (AI or otherwise)

So yeah, although playing as Late Byzantine Empire on VH/VH, I was wondering if there was anyway to make the game harder, at least in terms of AI or anything really. I heard of Germanicus AI mod...didn't find a page for it though. I have SS 6.4, so I don't know if it was included or not.

Please provide links with your suggestions.

I'm playing with only the princesses mod and the Komemnian new units at the moment, neither of which have any impact on difficulty.

You'll find ReallyBadBattleAI (which, contrary to it's name, is not bad battle AI at all ) in the Stainless Steel Submods forum, among the stickied threads at the top of the page.

The submod I will suggest for making the game harder is anything by Byg. His various versions of Byg's Grim Reality get more and more complex with each passing version, and also much harder. In his latest one, BGR V, blitzing the map will get you killed! However, I do not recommend it for anyone unfamiliar with his submods.

If you go to the submods subforum, you'll find the thread for his submods stickied at the top of the page. Earlier versions of BGR are included in Stainless Steel by default, but you have to download BGR IV-E (an enhanced version of BGR IV) and BGR V separately and install them over Stainless Steel, and then set-up your campaign. With BGR V, you'll need an entirely new install of SS 6.4 to be on the safe side, without any campaign set-up before you install BGR V, which is to say, you install SS 6.3 but do not select a campaign era or set-up the campaign, and then you install SS 6.4 and again do not select a campaign era or set-up the campaign; finally you follow the instructions for installing BGR V and then you set-up your campaign as instructed in his readme files (when asked to set-up your campaign prior to installing and setting-up BGR V, you can press the x button on the dialogue window to avoid having to set-up the campaign).

Also you could try the SSMAP (Stainless Steel Map Adjustment Project). It is for early era, but has made the map more historically accurate as well as updating unit upkeep, etc and making it a much more balanced game. Cheers.
