I do agree a boy of my age is an unlikely candidate for Hand of the King, although it would have been a great slight to King Stannis to deny his proposal. I would gladly step down from the position and focus on the warfronts if the King decides on a different Hand.

I do not see why you support some one who squalls you talents. Robb mustered most of the North to avenge his father. Let all the lords come to see Edric Storm and Joffrey, and decide for themselves, which one is son of Robert, if the mayority of the Nobles decide that Joffrey is the son of another man, let the rightful "heir", Stannis, be King, if we decide that Joffrey is the rightful son of my brother, let him reign over Westeros,

All the mayor nobles would have a vote, except Lord Stark, Lord Lannister, or my Brother, whose judgement is being not rational, due to personal interest and quarrells

I believe this is the fairest and smartest way to figure this out

It is too late to have such an audience; The lannisters have brandied their words too much for me to accept Joffrey Lannister as king. As such, I would advise all Lords and generals from attending such an audience, otherwise the crimson cravens would plot to imprison all of us, just as they did to Eddard Stark

Also, I have not sent an agent (we're barely on out first turn) yet. One heads south to treat with the Dornishmen, but such a stop would be unnecessary as my support already goes to Stannis.

Lord Renly, I advise you join the loyalist cause. Surely, your older brother will reward you well and cast aside all grudges for his blood brothers support.
