Voted. Best of luck to both of you.![]()
Also voted in thisI haven't taken part in those monthly competitions before, though, what's the reward for the winner? Do they get gold, silver and bronze medals so that's why we have to decide over 2nd place or how is it working?
"Pompeius, after having finished the war against Mithridates, when he went to call at the house of Poseidonios, the famous teacher of philosophy, forbade the lictor to knock at the door, as was the usual custom, and he, to whom both the eastern and the western world had yielded submission, ordered the fasces to be lowered before the door of science."
Pliny the Elder, Naturalis Historia, 7, 112
Wow, thanks everyone for voting!
btw Maurits your AAR is fantastic![]()
Thanks mate, that's a great compliment to receive from you!
I really love the way in which you are structuring your AAR with the timeline and other elements like that. It really makes it feel as if I'm looking at some sort of cool history book. I also think that the way in which you present your pictures is very original and pleasing to the eye. If I hadn't been part of the tie-breaker, I'd have voted for you!![]()
