Default Where do you see characters at the end of the books ?(Spoilers everywhere)

Where do you see a character ending up at the end of the book? Where will he be and what whould he be doing at the end of the book?

If you see a character as being dead at the end of the last book than you could describe how/when he died.

So now there shouldn't be any off-topic discussion on where characters should be and end up on other threads.

For instance I see Daenarys sacrificing herself in a battle against the others. So at the end of the books I think she will remain as a hero in memory, a fighter not a leader (queen).

Tyrion would get a seat on the Small Council and put his wits to use by helping restore the realm to its greatness after a big war against the others and getting rid of all the political conspirators, leaving a good and just realm.
Some battles are won with swords and spears, others with quills and ravens. Tywin Lannister

Jon Snow will die in the end sacrificing himself

Melisander will end up burnig and she will have an orgasm at that moment

Dany i see her achiveing her dream

Stannis will most likely die either b assassinated or betrayed or by illnes

Sansa is going to end up being a naughty bird and stop being stupid

Arya will either achive her death list and die in the end , or survive but i don't see her wanting to return to the lifestyle she had being a noble lady and marryng another lord , she will most likely continue to be an assasin

Darkstar will have an epic battle and die

Loras is going to transform in a desfigurated monster like dog if he suvived the battle for Dragonstone

    Bran will become a tree

Theon wil somehow die with a clear conscience

Rickon will be the lord of Winterfell and Warden of the North

Petyr Baellish will die betrayed by Sansa

Dany and Jon will conquer Westeros together and marry in Targaryen fashion.

    Aegon will die, somehow.

Victarion will be given control over the Iron islands.

Stannis will die in combat against either the Boltons or the Lannisters.

All Lannisters, except Tyrion and maybe Jaime, will die, with Jaime killing Cersei. Myrcella and Tommen included.

Varys will endure, being the cockroach he is.

Sansa will become the "queen" of the North and the Vale. Littlefinger will through her rule half the continent.

The Freys will die. All of them. The Boltons too, although Roose might weasel out of it. Ramsay's gonna die, though.

The new Kingdom, the Watch and the Wildlings will work together against the White walkers. Bran will play in important role in the conflict, perhaps serving as an intermidiarry between the forces of Ice and Fire.

Arya will leave the faceless men, either of her own free will or she'll be forced out, probably due to her connection with her wolf.

Melisandre will... Actually, I don't know about this one.

And I have no idea what will happen to the Reach. Let's see, eh?

All I wish for is that:
    1) Jon stays dead
    2) Daenerys is eaten by her dragons.
    3) Tyrion is murdered by Tysha (who he finds alive at some point).

The first needs to happen to show that anyone can still die, it was one of the catches in the series but how long has it been since someone important was killed?
The second is because I hate Daenerys, she and her dragons ruin the relistic edge of the story. I hate the ideas that she may end up plying to westeros with her army of uber infantry, dothraki, mercenaries and dragons to go "Boom" bad guys dead and I am now queen.
The Third simply because he seems so fake. "I am a dwarf who is not a really good fighter but watch me butcher all of these knights with an axe!" "I want to rape my sister, kill her childen and I murdered my father but everyone loves me for some ed up reason" G.R.R.M. claims he does not let personal feelings get in the wqay of creating his characters but I really think he did with Tyrion.
"I, Pinkie Pie, declare that these treats are fit for a king, or a queen, or a princess!"
"Me? Ruin? I'm not the ruiner, I'm the ruinee! Or is it ruinness? Ruinette?"
"She's ahead of the litter all right. The pick of the litter. The cat's pajamas. Oh wait. Why would Applejack take some poor kitty's pj's? That's not very sporting of her."
"More balloons! No, that's too many balloons. More candy! No, less candy. Ooh! I know! Streamers!"
"Oh my gosh. Hold on to your hooves – I am just about to be brilliant!"

It would be shockingly interesting if every POV character dies along the way leaving the world open to new players. It would be a "bitter-sweet" ending.

The first and second I can let pass, but the third? I never thought I'd see a Tyrion hater. He's not fake at all; He might even be one of the most "real" characters. His transformation from a whore-loving clown into a bitter, world hating cynic is fascinating.

His personality I am ok with to a certian point but when it comes to battle he is like the hero from a children's series in that he can never be seriously injured in any way. i guarentee that if the bad guy caught him he would spend 20 minutes explaining how he would torture Tyrion until he turns around to see that he escaped 15 minutes ago.

    Hmm, interesting thread

Stannis will be hurt by an arrow in a battle against Ramsay Snow (that's right! I said Snow!) but wins the battle. He will die right after.

Dany will take control of the Slavers Bay and never return to Westeros or the Free Cities. Hopefully assassinated withing the series

Bran dies to an other, but at the same time does something cool to weaken them, allowing The Night's Watch and the wildlings to attack them.

The knights of the Vale will hang Sansa and Petyr Baelish for trying to take control over the Vale

Roose Bolton will betray the Lannisters together with the current heir of the Freys after Walder dies (his young wife kills him) and take King's Landing, but Aegon Targaryen takes the city again a couple of weeks and execute Roose and all the Freys except two or three.

The Manderlys will raise the warriors of the North and destroy the remaining Bolton troops, kill Ramsay and take the Dreadfort, making Rickon King in the North

Arya Stark will leave the Faceless men, takes Needle and goes back to Westeros joining Beric Dondarrion's band, only to be killed by Tarly's men

Jamie will name himself king of the Westlands and make Tyrion his Hand, but Aegon will ally with the Tyrells and kill them both

If I think of anything else I'll edit this post

Stannis dies... I have a gut feeling he will try to take on the Others and fail miserably. Also Mel kills herself because Stannis is dead and she was wrong. Victarion dies in a last stand beserker rage kind of deal. Euron I would like to see eaten by a dragon. Jamie takes the kids Tommen and Myrcella and will hide or at least leave KL. War survivors would be Asha and/or Osha, Rickon, Sansa, Edmure, Sam, Gendry, and Barristan... Ok that last one might be wishful thinking but oh well.

Many thanks to the good folks down at the Graphics Workshop for the sig.

Dany: The Khal that found her is going to send her to Vaes Dothrak to be a dosh kaleen(I think i mispelled it),
And then turns out she is not the prince that was promised(neither stannis), but it was Rhaegar and Robert doomed them all.

Aegon: Die, arrow in the knee while storming the castle.

Jon: He will become an Other, with their magic, and he will lead the wights to victory.

Tyrion: He will find Tysha and be happy forever.

Jorah: He will go to Vaes Dothrak and see Dany.

Stannis: Win the throne, and be a good king, then go lead the army to fight the others.

Sam: He will fight in the megasuperepicwaragainstjonsnowandtheothersalongsidestanninsandthenight'swatch, there he will find his father and see him die :

Jaime: He will find Kitty(Cat), and when she tries to hang him, he gladly accepts his death and the Rulore will see fit to spare him so Thoros tells her to spare him and so he becomes a warriors of the light.

Cersei: executed by our rightful king stannis.

    Bran: Become an old god

    Rickon: Be rickon.

Sansa: Rally the vale to fight the Others, Lyn Corbray leads the vale's army because he has a pretty name.

Arya: Tries to murder Sansa, but then they recognise each other and then she joins the Vale's army and dies fighting Jon snow in a single duel(She couldn't kill her beloved bro).

    I am silly? Right?

There is a lot here, trying to avoid wall of text
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Rickon Stark: Lord of Winterfell, Warden of the North

Jon: alive and finds out he is half - Targaryen goes to battle against the Whitewalkers, possibly dead (no idea what to do here)

Jaime: Betrayed by Brienne due to Brienne's promise to lady Stoneheart(you know it's true), now in an unmarked grave beside the Hound.

Arya: eventually gets kicked out of the faceless men, becomes a wandering assassin.

Sansa: finally becomes useful with the teachings of Petyr Baelish, scores a marriage with a powerful lord and manipulates her way to power from there.

Stannis: His iron will triumphs in the end and becomes the true King of Westeros.

    Roose Bolton: executed by Stannis

Bran: becomes one with the old gods.

Ramsay Snow (I said it!): cleaved in half by one of Stannis' knights and left to be feasted on by his ow dogs, a fitting end.

Theon: dies after redemption (he's just too broken now)

Victarion: binds Dany's dragons to himself at Slaver Bay, proceeds to capture "the most beautiful woman in the world."

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Daenerys: roasts an entire Khalasar then becomes Victarion's whore. LOL

    Euron: death by Victarion's fists

House Frey: extinct (so many want them dead after the Red Wedding)

Tyrion: Warden of the West, Daven Lannister as his second in command.

Cersei: loses trial by combat, executed on orders of the High sparrow

Aegon "Targaryen": dies in combat against the Tyrells

    Varys: death by Arya

Petyr Baelish: exiled by lord's declarant, pimping it up in Essos somewhere.

Davos Seaworth: Hand of the King, and eventually finds Sallador Saan and shortens the fingers of his right hand and uses the bones as his good luck charm.

    Jorah Mormont: death by Victarion

Melisandre: aids in fight against the others but dies.

    Tommen Baratheon: R'hllor food

Jon Connington: killed after his companions figure out he has Greyscale.

Maegery Tyrell: never has successful marriage, forced to join silent sisters and serve the faith.

High Sparrow: executes Cersei but ultimately fed to R'hllor.

Asha Greyjoy: married off to some lord.

Lady Stoneheart: Rickon has her put down realizing she is never going to be his mom again.

Mace Tyrell: put to death by stannis for being so incompetant

Samwell Tarly: discovers awesome techniques to fight the others with, serves as head maester of the nights watch
and there are many more but I'm sleepy

    Wall of text
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
It will turn out Jon:1)stays dead
2)was only fatally wounded, he'll try to stop Others with dragonsteel but fail and retreat, later be one of the generals that will fight Others and in the end be either Lord of Winterfell or on Stannis' court, as LC of Kingsguard or small council member.
    No resurrections.

Sansa will marry Harry the Heir or someone else and be happy and unimportant/die so fanbase is enraged and cries for poor Starks.

Arya will kill someone important, reunite with Jon and slowly begin to heal her soul and find some happiness at the end.

Bran will turn in a tree and live happily chatting with his family over weirwoods and having deep disscussions about meaning of life with Hodor.

Rickon will run happy with Shaggydog and live in some small Northern castle or even hold Skagos for Starks.

Stannis will win the Iron Throne, lead a royal army armed with dragonsteel and fire and defeat Others in battle and rule as strict but just and capable king and heal Westeros untill his death of old age in his eighties.

Selyse will, if she survives the Mel's death, become doodling old bat and stop with R'hllor .

Shireen will marry Willas Tyrell, be happy with her life despite her illness, read books and rule the realm with Willas after Stannis dies.

Davos will get a year of holiday, go on a trip to Essos with his remaining family and then be Stannis' Hand, with his family at court and raise his sons to be as good men as he is.

Melisandre will fail with R'hllor and be killed by Others after her unsuccesful attempt to destroy them with her magic.

Axell Florent will die when he sleeps with burning candle when his bed catches fire.

Blackfish will rally Riverlands for Stannis' cause and live his last days peacefully at Riverrun.

Edmure will be new Lord of Riverrun and Riverlands with Roslin and fight to defeat Freys and Lannisters.

Lady Stoneheart will vanish, her entering the Twins and killing Walder is too unbelievable.

Littlefinger will die in some comical/stupid way, the sooner the better. Long and painful too.(like for example being crushed beneath SweetRobin's wheelchair and die from splinters in his flesh)

SweetRobin will be placed under care of Vale's lord and be treated accordingly.

Royces will join Stannis, with Bronze Yohn being their lord.

Tyrion will find Tysha, and either totally break when she says him to gtfo or make peace with himself and be Master of Coin if Stannis pardons him(his wit should be put to use). But no more unrealistic survivals for him.

Lancel will be Lord of Casterly Rock.

Cersei will win at her trial but retire to Casterly Rock and find some peace.

Jaime will not kill his sister beacuse of some stupid prophecy, he will either die by Stoneheart or live with Brienne.

Tommen will go somewhere on peaceful place in Free Cities and do what he likes.

Myrcella will marry Trystane and forget about her being a princess of Westeros and become a Dornish one.

Willas will marry Shireen and rule well.

Garlan will be Lord of Highgarden.

Loras will die of wounds at Dragonstone.

Mace will battle Aegon and be on the verge of winning when Stannis ambushes them and aninhilates their armies. While running, he will choke on a peach.

Queen of Thorns will become senile and live her last days peacefully in Highgarden.

Doran will break when he hears of Quentyn's death and spent his last days in Water Gardens.(on a side note does anyone think Doran is a bit of a pedo? It's a bit creepy.)

Arianne will... hells, i don't know.

    Sand Snakes will be interesting.

Trystane will be next Prince of Dorne.

Aegon will battle with Mace and die when his elephants start running amok and trample him.

Jon Connigton will commit harakiri after Aegon dies and Stannis defeats his and Mace's army.

Randyll Tarly will join Stannis after Mace dies and Tyrells make peace with him.

Samwell will be next Grand Maester.

Dickon will be Lord of Horn's Hill after Randyll dies.

Some Florent who is not complete idiot will become lord of Brightswater Keep and Lord of the Reach.

Justin Massey will find Arya, mercenaries and bring them all to Westeros, enabling Stannis to win. Later he will marry Asha and rule Iron Islands for short time untill "accident".

Euron will be killed by Victarion.

    Asha will rule Iron Islands.

Theon will be executed. With sword.

Viserion and Rhaegal will massacre Khal Jhaqo's(or whatever his name is) khalasaar and attack Drogon. All three dragons die.

Daenerys will die/end up in Bravoos in house behind the red door, be with Daario or whoever she wants and do whatever she wants as long as we don't have to suffer her POVs again.

Victarion will loot Mereen as thoroughly as he can so we never again have to read about that place, then go back with or without Dany, kill Euron and be defeated by Stannis. Again.

Jorah will return to Bear Island and calm down.
Actually too many characters here get happy ending, several of them should die

    And
His personality I am ok with to a certian point but when it comes to battle he is like the hero from a children's series in that he can never be seriously injured in any way. i guarentee that if the bad guy caught him he would spend 20 minutes explaining how he would torture Tyrion until he turns around to see that he escaped 15 minutes ago.
This. I often feel like GRRM is forcing us to like Tyrion. His character is interesting, but if he's a dwarf with stunted legs than make him act like one.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
I see Jon Snow as the prince that was promised, having been resurrected from his fatal wounds by mellisandra, thus rendering his oath invalid (it specifically says "until my death"). Jon then marries Stannis's daughter, takes over Westeros using his claim as a targ, destroys the Others, and we all live happily ever after.

Or rather, thats what the commoners will believe.

In truth, Jon will never have been killed, just hurt badly, the prince that was promised will be a piece of sprouted by mellisandra just like the equally bull part she sprouted about stannis being the same, and the whole "jon is a targ" thing will be a propaganda piece fabricated by Stannis because its reasonably plausible and the people are sure to love it. Jon will be trapped in a loveless politically arranged marriage, knowing for the rest of his life that he is living a lie for the whims of others, and die childless and alone, the last of his siblings, never knowing the truth about his parents and never receiving true credit for his actions, the bulk of which are attributed to Stannis the Great and the new God of Westeros, the Lord of Light, whose worship is mandatory and who takes a third of everyone's life to spawn his Shadow Servants, who wander the world slaying all who doubt his greatness and wisdom.

Hopefully, in the process Arya will be sent to kill him and he will have to kill her himself, preferably in such a way that he knows who he killed. Oh, and he will be forced to kill Ghost, Bran, Rickon, and the direwolves for some various reasons, or maybe Just 'cause. But Westeros will be saved from the others and the civil war will finally be over! yay!

didnt martin promise us a bittersweat ending?

Most of the characters will be dead through, starvation, disease, exposure, suicide, battle, execution, assassination or suicide. Hardly anyone will be left alive.
Always keep your foes confused. If they are never certain who you are or what you want, they cannot know what you are like to do next. Sometimes the best way to baffle them is to make moves that have no purpose, or even seem to work against you - Littlefinger
