    Default CTD 6.4

    Hello, I am new to the MOD buisness, but what little I have been able to play this MOD, I have been very impressed. However, I am constantly hit by CTDs.

    the latest was this one in turn 6 or 7 of my game as Denmark.

    This has happened to me a few times already and I have checked your threads to find solutions. I have removed a line from the script and I have moved the game to a folder outside programs.

    I use Win 7 64bit
    I DONT use steam
    I dont use Sub Mods

    I really really hope you can help

    Stating how and when you got the CTD is fairly essential if you want help.
    I'm assuming you are in a battle when you CTD. If there are reinforcements with the AI then allow them to join together before you interact with them.

    very sorry, first post on the forum - still a bit unsure what to include. Hopefully this post will clear up some of the stuff you mention.

    First off, I had some graphic crashes in the beginning, so I went looking on this forum for stuff to do - and I found this:

    "SS 6.3-6.4 issue - exclude 2nd "prepare_for_battle" instance from campaign_script.txt (one preceded by all "set_counter xxx 0" lines)."

    It is this prepare_for_battle that I have removed.

    Now, funnily enough my crashes dont happen in battle. I was just playing my game now, and it crashed in turn 30. I had pressed end turn and the AI was doing their stuff, when it got to france it crashed (I cant see any of his lands, so it wasn't because he was moving around or fighting that I could see)

    This is what it said in my error log of this CTD:

    22:45:45.880 [system.rpt] [error] Medieval 2: Total War encountered an unspecified error and will now exit.

    not really much information there.

    hopefully, with his extra information you will be able to assist me
