Isn't he just a little too old for this? I mean, he is 60 or something?
Anyway, I'll go see it, I liked all Rocky movies.

Yeah it's a bit...sad that Sylvester Stallone needs to drag back a franchise that everybody thought was thoroughly killed with Part 4 and 5. Especially against Antonio Tarver this is gonna be really realistic...
some people don't know when to quit...

well i don't care how "realistic" this movie is because lets face it... it's a movie.
i'll probably go and see it just for the nostalgic feeling.
The first Rocky movie was actually pretty good, I liked how he didn't win the fight at the end but he achieved his own personal goals.
the rest of the rocky movies were crap really
I heard a rumour about this about 6 months ago and I am still thinking "What the hell do they think they're doing?"
Well, I'll be cheering for the underdog, which is Rocky's opponent.
Rocky has never been the underdog - it's obvious he's going to win!
Looks to me or the guy that rocky is fighting is a bit too young for him.It ll be less convincing balboa that takes alot of punches this in this movie,at his age one blow and you re out.
Well in the first one he was the Underdog and he didn't even win.Originally Posted by God
Nevermind though, Rocky's opponents have become ridiculously stronger than him with each new movie, so we shouldn't be suprised that now that he's really old he's gonna box someone who's much younger, much taller and a real life boxing champion.
That's what they want you to think! But when you watched the movie for the 1st time you expected Rocky to win, so technically, Apollo Creed is the underdog because nobody expects him to win...Originally Posted by Rapax

Well you're speaking of movie clichées. And that clichée says that the underdog always wins. In the context of the movie, he is still the underdog even though we know what is going to happen.Originally Posted by God
I seen that in a newspaper yesterday...hes just turned 60...thats just mad but hes in some shape for a 60 year old. Hes been working out 4 hours a day it said in the newspaper plus he was actually knocked out while filming

Reminds me of the last one he did when he was going to fight "Tommy Gun"Nevermind though, Rocky's opponents have become ridiculously stronger than him with each new movie, so we shouldn't be suprised that now that he's really old he's gonna box someone who's much younger, much taller and a real life boxing champion.

Either way I think a grizzled vietnam vet dishing it out once more is more realistic than a 60year old outboxing Antonio Tarver.
Ill maybe go see Rocky cause well even though there stupid there good...but Rambo?not a chance ill be avoiding it like a plagueOriginally Posted by Rapax

Yeah, that movie has been in the making for a couple of months now. I hope it's really good.Originally Posted by Archer
But man, Stallone, at 60, is still in great shape.
I heard about this movie a couple of months ago, still can't fathom its existance.
I would rather watch a sequel to.... judge dredd of all movies than this.
