also rules for the character 7 traits + an additional for every 5 years older then 20
ancillaries will be two to start and an additional every ten years older then 20
your character may not start as part of a major family but the minor ones are acceptable
you may not start as lord of a fief
any objections to the proposed rules

I have one morwe sugestion. Each level of a trait counts as 1 towards your limit. So if you have the level 4 commander that is four traits gone.

My character is 37 so that gives him 10 traits and 3 ancillaries.

I have created a character and made him a member of house Cerwyn. Everything works fine, except he is not a Cerwyn family member, he is "Scotland_named_general" or something like that above his campaing map model. Is that a problem?

True, I didn't know that we can create custom traits as well. I got to the point where I have my own custom general and what not but I used vanilla traits. Do I just have to add them onto the file where the traits are described?

How did you create traits like 'prince of chroyane"?

I would like to withdraw my choice as Gardener, if I may have House Mudd. I'd like to create a general that has some interesting traits/retinues pertaining to the Old Gods

This is all I have for now. However, the game will not even bother to load to the main menu after I had added the custom traits. Martin, can you check to see what the problem is? Everything worked fine and my general loaded correctly up until the point where I added custom traits
