Heir to throne?

Hey!

It's actually nothing but anyway it annoys me. Early in game my - at that time - heir to the throne adopted a man. At that time the heir didn't have any boy over the age of 14, so the adopted man get to be the heir when the king died. Later on the legitimate heir grow up and still did'nt get the heir title. Then the king died and the adopted got the king title or the "regent" title. Now his son-in-law is the heir. How come?
The traits says something like that if the legitimate heir grows up, he will be the heir. But that hasn't happened yet and the regent haven't had the trait of Leader yet he is king!

Isn't this somekind of a bug?

Also i can't change the heir, but i think that is thought to be so?

Also there is a misplaced name in the Danish. Inge is not a first name for a man

Cannot rename a different character as heir, so if the old kings son becomes high authority, or you give him the heir crown and then the king dies, he will become prince, the "regent" will be king, when regent dies your true blood prince will be king again and the line will be restored.

You expect the hereditary rule to be more organized than it was historically in the middle ages. I on the other hand could use the feature of more conflict between heirs including civil wars for the throne of the kingdom, but I suppose the modders can't cater for us all.
I tried once to shower a low general with all the titles he could carry, and that actually made him the faction heir when the leader died. Coincidently this made it impossible for my factions princess to marry him.

It was a boys name in medieval Danish and still is in modern Norwegian.

haha okey... I always thought it was a old fashion girl name though i have never heard of boys with the name Inge

Actually... He had more worse traits and titles than the old kings real son... I'm not thinking about making civilwars, though it could be so cool But i would like to have the ability to change heirs or the game do what the traits say - change heir og king when a boy is old enough to that...
