I'm trying to recreate the trials and destruction of the Templars, as well as the orders that followed them. I have created the Order of Christ, for Portugal, since I knew about that already. So, the first thing I'd like to ask the community here: Were there other orders that took the legacy of the Templars and kept it alive, in a similar way to the Order of Christ? (they got all of the former Templar possessions, had a very similar cross as their symbol)

Secondly, is it possible to create a trait or retinue that names a Templar grandmaster/regional leader etc.? Can anyone point me to a tutorial on how to do this, or just explain it to me? I'm thinking of something like having one set at the start of the campaign, and when he dies having it pass on to the general with the highest chivalry or something like that. Really cool would be having the title cease to exist after the Templar purge and a new one, for new orders, to take it's place.
