Shooting At Sikh Temple In Winconsin

This just in, two men apparently went into a Sikh temple in Oak Creek, Wisconsin during service and opened fire. They have apparently taken hostages. Very new and recent, not much info.

I just have to say, I've begun to tire rather quickly of all this. I don't know the details but the fact that the shooters picked a temple such as this makes me believe it's just another case of ignorants cleansing the land of infidels. People who probably don't even know what the hell Sikhism is other than "another towel head religion".

Or maybe I'm wrong and there are other motives behind this, but still it annoys me greatly that there is so much hate and violence in the world. I know we humans will never get along, but I hate living in a world where I'm exposed to it on a daily basis. Here's hoping as many people get out unharmed and the perps are taken down or out as quickly as possible

I'm not aiming this at you. But attitudes like this don't exactly help things to change what we know call "human nature". 100 years ago it had been fact since near the dawn of man that women were inferior, now MOST society lives without that ideology.

But anyway, things aren't changing soon anyway so, this is just another case of stupid crazy people being stupid and crazy.

Probably a personal vendetta among Sikhs, I remember hearing of a temple brawl involving swords and MMA fighting sessions somewhere in the past.

Found video below, it seems that Sikhs have pretty intense religious fights, just this time someone brought a gun.

They better find a way to solve their religious problems peacefully, repeated temple fights would be enough for a comprehensible ban on Sikhs in my book.

Sikh is a militarized group since... the day when they fought Muslims? Either way, it is known Sikhism is focused on martial power considerably, which was why British loved to hire Sikh to fight the enemies of Empire. Even after India independence Sikh militias still posed considerable threat until the end of Cold War (search "Operation Blue Star").

I say my only surprise is no one shoot that gunner immediately.

Just drove by there this morning, kind of weird.

CNN is reporting that people are hiding and texting out to give information out. Which begs the question why the hell CNN would report this considering it puts those people in extreme danger since it's a hostage situation with fatalities having already occurred...
