Help in choosing a 3D printer.
Could any one in the know give some advice on on which law end 3d printer to choose among the cheap and DIY category (Makerbot & Reprap and co) ?
I am really interesting in doing 3D art, but more in doing prototyping, building mechanical devices and parts for my arduino based practice circuits. For some revenue I also plan to offer model building to university kids and architects in small volumes to pay for my car fuel (if you see what I mean
)
So I am looking for a kind of fast printer with good tolerances, precision and that is customization, since I plan to integrate aluminum frames in my prints to increase strength the prints.
So any advice ?
I got a budget of $2k maximum.
