Remember the heroes from MTW? The special generals, the historical characters who had 4-5 command stars or more and special traits that made them stand out from the rest?
CA, can we expect heroes like Hannibal, Pyrrhus or Scipio Africanus in the game?

It would be pretty cool to have historical characters pop up, maybe like in Kingdoms, where William Wallace or Richard the Lionheart show up with an event.

The problem with that is we're changing history. Those worked in very specific scenarios, because there was far more control over the parameters. But this is a game spanning hundreds of years, and you're asking for specific characters that may not have risen to prominence without certain conditions.Originally Posted by The Juggernaut
I'd be more in favor of experienced units getting some hero-type boost (perhaps inspiring nearby troops), or maybe some generals being able to get some cool stuff if they are very successful (like Julius Caesar). But if I'm playing Carthage, and I conquer Spain and France, it would be fairly absurd to run into Julius Caesar as he was after his conquests.
