Problem with uninstalling

I downloaded this mod yesterday but could not get it to work, so i chose to uninstall it. But when i opened Kingdoms it still had SS as an option in the pop-up menu with the other versions of the game. Luckily i can still play the original, but when i close it down, it wont close down. It keeps running on steam even though it is not shown in task manager or processors. This means that i have to restart my pc everytime i want to open the game again which is really annoying.

I tried to reinstall the game, steam and just installing the M2TW, but even that has the extra menu of SS.

So i want to know whether others have tried the same and whether there is something i can do about it?

How did you uninstall it?
I used to have this trouble when i wanted to uninstall MTW2 and since i couldn't find the uninstaller in my game folder, i simply deleted it.

Well, after that, while i installed MTW2 again, i noticed that the Kingdoms expansion was installed(Even though i had deleted the game folder).

Now that i finished my story, i suggest you to use a Clean Uninstaller ( I don't really know their real name)
That was one of my options to solve my problem, but i simply installed the kingdoms expansion again and it worked, try something like that.
Try installing SS again.
