Default Something that I would like to see

Whenever I play RTW, I pretty much always win. I really enjoy the game, but there is one thing that is small, but always gets on my nerves. The cities. When I play as Carthage, I expect to conquor the world. So I do, but then I notice hat teh walls and buildings that I create look African, even when they are in, say, northern Germany! I hope that in MTW2, the area in which the city or castle is actually in affects the way the buildings look.

When the Romans invaded Britain the towns they built resembled Roman style, so addin this feature would be unrealistic ( victors normally enforce there culture on there new conquared lands. )

But when the crusaders invaded the mid-east, the settlements they conquered stayed arabic..even in the last crusade.

If I get your point, much of the irritation comes from the type of stone used, the yellow desert stone of Africa in Germany looks rather silly, and secondary, the buildings look wrong. The stone thingy should be easy to fix, don't know about the buildings, although a uniqe settlement look based on region would be cool.

I am also worried about the number of civilisations. I believe that CA will create one generic culture for Chatolics, one for Orthodox etc, this will make the Danish and Spanish settlements look the same, and the same with the Russians and Byzantines.

By the way, though my avatar might indicate so, I am not a citizen of Germany, though my ancestry have a branch in this great nation.

The stone wall colour thing will not be easy to fix if the way the walls are done is like RTw, where they are assigned by culture type, and you cannot affect what kind colour wallsa settlement gets based on where it is.
