    Default Pyrosh improvements and new units

    Wel guys, I have improve Taro´s units and make new armour upgrades. i have this project in mind since a long time but, I did´n have time and skiins until now. At he moent i only have made modifications in taro´s fantastic word, but i would like that this can be the first step to something bigger, I´m working in this units and one friend is working in a ``subfaction system´´ to make not only AOR units, but factions within factions where you can conquest south regions with Dol Amroth for the glory of Gondor, adn you can reinstruc your unit without AOR limitations!!!.

    This is all the work for the moment, as you can see I need to work in the skiins, but I´m not skinner, and I need one or two persons can help me with this, because, if I do´nt have any skinner, probably I will stop the project. I need a coder too, because I´m a chaos in the txt files. I don´t need expert people, only guys that can work in photoshop. One of the things that i like of the modding is that with work... al the people can learn new things and with the time become in a skilled modder
    My idea is make a personal rooster for the fielfdoms of Gondor, each fielfdom with his own personal rooster. But I haven´t very clear what are going to be the fielfdoms.
    At the moment I have this in mind:
    - The ancient cities (Minas Tirith, Osguiliath, and Minas Morgul) with the armoured classical guys
    - Ithilien, with the rangers
    - Lossarnach, with the axemen
    - Dol Amroth, with the elite troops
    - Pelargir and the coastlands of the Anduin, with the marines
    - Pinath Gelin, with medium infantery and good cavarly
    - Lammedon and Ringlo Vale, with the clansmen and bowmen

    I request corrections in the geographyc aspect because I´m not very expert in this subject xdxd.

    Obbiusly, all the suggestions, concept art, pics that you have found, or ideas about new units, will be very wellcome hehehe. An idea can be good or bad... but if you don´t share with us, we never know it hehehe.

    I liked the tabard idea but maybe the tabard and the tunic could have different colours. Maybe a white tunic and a blue tabard. I didnt like the upg 2 of the guardsmen. The helmet is too futuristic. It looks more like clone wars than Middle Earth. You could also match the colour in all the metal parts of the armour. I would like the idea of a Dol Amroth faction. It wouldnt work very well for the ai but it would be cool for the player. One way to make it work for the AI would be to make more land bridges involving the isles in the Anduin delta and the other big island.

    hehehe thank you!!! but as I said... I only can recycle Taro skiins... i would like to make variations in colours, and greaves needs skiin work, and if you see the upg II, he has the normal armmour instead of one of DA. The skkin is one of the things that make horryble the upg 2 of the guardsmen... to be honest the recycle skiin and the possition make this helmet horrible... but with a good skiin, you will see how it will improve ( is very simmilar to the numenorean helmet, is bassed on one Imrahil´s toy, I wanted something close for the helmet, but is only for guardsmen (lancers), swordsmen will have another different helmet xdxd, at the moment, I have made 5 different helmets for DA troops, every unit will have the same base but diffrent helmet).
    really the IA won´t have any problem with this new subfaction system... DA will have his own rooster... but it still being gondor... this system only change the rooster, not make a new faction with new buildings etc etc. is bassed in the MOS elven system to ascribe units to special builldings, the novelty is that this building will be ascribe to characters with special ancilleries. In this manner, the subfaction leaders will earn leadership in the campaign.
    I apologize for donñt put more parts of my work... but I think that is not presentable because the recycle skiins are too forced.

    Another suggestion I would like to give is to try to standardize the equipment as much as possible for the faction. Too much variation in base equipment between pikemen and archers and guardsmen, for example, kind of breaks the identity of the faction. For example, the romanized shoulder for the guardsmen is cool but it is totally different than the shoulders used by the other DA units. Not that it looks bad, it looks actually very good but it is radically different than the shoulders used by the other units. Obviously some units with totally different roles will allow for much more variation.

    hehehe you are right with the shoulders... but is not the ``Loriga segmentata´´ style xdxd, probably... when I will asign the bones, the last plate follow the arm; and ingame... It looks simmilar to the other shoulders, in the end all of them will wear the same round plates. The idea is see the shoulders ingame like the archers ones ... but I need to see how it works with the animation hehehe.

    I would like to make two milita units for DA, any idea? xd

    Hehehehe Emperor of Hell has answered you very well. The idea is start with Taro´s work, why? because I can work whith his skiins, I´m only adding legs, shoulders... the idea is make a team, with codders and skinners and start a bigg add-on project, I would like to make units for the elves, for Rhun, for the Dwarfs, but whithout skinner, recyle previusly models is the only that I can make.

    hahahaha yes xd is one of my objectives, I have a model for the galadhrim warriors too much improved... but.. is a very difficult model to skiin, and... I want a good final unit xdxd.

    I liked the Ithilien Rangers. Im not sure about the master rangers. Are they supposed to be wearing a mail coif under the hood?

    yes, they wear a diadem with face protectors, IMO is the logical armour upgrade for the ithilien rangers xd, I´m thinking in put leather greaves to be more armoured xd. I know that this unit is a bit... out of the films or Taro´s realism... but I like the fantasy concepts xdxd.
    One other thing that I want to say is that It will be perfect if in M2TW we might had an animation for light two handed swordsmen (something simmilar to Aragorn, or Gandalf in the films), is the idea for this unit weapon... but I´m not sure about it, any ideas? xdxd
    And for Dol Amroth militias, any ideas? KK started the first release, with swordsmen and archer militias for DA, I ´m not sure about following his units because is the unupgrade version of the guardsmen, archers... I have thinking in make a unit that starts without any armour, only clothes., and start the upg with leather armours, something simmilar to the master rangers clothes
