    Default 6.4 CTD Save Games

    Hola,
I've been playing Stainless Steel for nigh on a year now, with only CaesarClivus's Battle for the Baltic 2.0 as a submod. I decided to add a few sub-mods, made a few screw-ups, and in the middle of all this the CD got damaged.
I decided to start anew, and reinstalled Stainless Steel 6.3, then 6.4, then BftB. Started a new campaign as Venice, and everything was peachy till' I made a slight strategic error, then tried to load a save.
The loading bar barely even started when the splash loading screen shifted, lost the quote, and the game promptly crashed to the desktop.
I'm on Windows 7, everything patched and up to date, UAC turned off. The mod and Medieval: Total War itself is installed in ProgramFiles(86), but it's never caused me problems before. I've tried several other campaigns, and all except the Baltic campaign have the same problem. While I like Sweden as much as anyone, I prefer Venice.
    Help would be greatly appreciated.

    Bother.
Sorry for the double-post, but I should have made this clear.
The Kingdoms Disc One managed to earn a few breaks in the center while in the computer. I'm using the Kingdoms Disc Two, I don't know if that makes a difference or not...

I found the problem. During the reinstallation, I forgot to put in the BftB hotfix. Seems ironic that the lack of a hotfix for BftB would cause everything but the Baltic campaign to go haywire...
I thank you all for your aid in this.
