Default 9-10 fps in Huge battles.

Hello, I wonder if it is normal to have 9-10 fps during battles ...

    My PC is:

    Phenom II 965 - 3.4 Ghz

    4 GB RAM

    HD 5770.

It's an old game engine and it won't use more than 1 CPU code and won't be using your HD5770 properly either.

What graphic settings do you use?

How large are the armies involved?

I play R:TW at 2560x1600 with huge unit scale and maxed graphic settings (but not high-res vegetation) with a pair of GTX295s. FPS is about 20 in battles.

grass, veg ,shadows and unit textures seem to draw the most.. set all these low then push them up a liitle at a time....play large instead of huge...set colour to 16 bit...use gamebooster to easily shut down back ground programs...turn internet off and any defrag programs...run your fans at high speed ...personaly i dont think its a good for your graphics card to play this mod maxed out ....im sure there is a whole piece on how to het the best out of it somewhere in technical help
