RS 2.5 crash at battle

i have a problem in RS 2.5 if i play a battle in the middle of the battle the game crashes often any battle even with only 1 troop against 1 what should i do?
my PC is great and i can play ETW on ultra performance without any lags so it isn't a problem of my PC.

R:TW is an old game engine. It won't use more than a single core of your CPU and won't make the most of your graphic card.

Some technical details of your system could get a better answer than that. Have a look at the 'Before you post an error' stuck thread......

well my OS is windows 7.
i use v 1.5 of RTW.
i don't use steam.
i've install RS 2.5 in the main RTW folder.
i play as Rome with RTW.
my CPU is intel core i5 and my graphic card is geforce GT 440 4 GB.
my graphic options are at highest.

and btw i could play battles on vanilla RTW.
