i agree hitman blood money! the units are to un-balanced. i fought against two units of myrmidones, i had something like 14-15 units.. but noo, i did'nt win. they're to strong! i'm frustrated i'm fighting phthia as thessalians, they're hero units are crushing me!! frustrated...

personally, the kretikos heros are the coolest, whilst the troyan heros are the best
but, minoans have zero chanse!! they are slaughtered against atheinians, because of their spearmen..

I have found the "achilles heel" of hero units, hold them with some infantry, get some archers to their flank, shower them with arrows, kills many many many many hero's easily, ive totally demolished 2-4 groups of hero's using this tactic.

Troy is for BI 1.6 so it can have shield wall... plus shield wall is just a modified version of gaurd mode but it doesnt do that much in battle from what i examined

Yes, the heros were an unknown element. It is a difficult balance to get them powerful enough to be heros but not over powered, the only way to experiment was to see the responce from the beta

at least let all heros have 40 bodyguards!!

If anything we will reduce the number of men in the bodyguard and keep the same stats, that might be more balanced.

i think it is a bit annoying that the kretikos heros has 30 men, whilst all the other has 40 i think...

the best unit is the myrmidon, hands down. heros cant even kill them lol

i agree, the phytian heros are very strong, i attacked a settlement with just over 900 men, and autocalculated it, i lost and was like omg because the settlement only had around 150 people in it, so i played it on the battle map and discovered that there was 3 phytian hero units, i won but the battle was very costly There missile attack annihilated alot of my men
