Diplomacy Rules
To initiate diplomacy, create a thread outlining the realm and ruler you are trying to establish contact with. Role-play accordingly.
Also note that in those days, rulers took offense to even smaller things such as wrongly addressing of a royal. Niceties and proper addresses (like your serene highness, or your majesty) must be observed, and the mods can and will use any bloopers against your character.
Always note that you cannot conduct diplomacy and war with the same person at the same time. For wartime negotiations, like under truce meetings, do it so in the battlefield thread.
