Default Blasted thing keeps overheating and getting ridiculously dusty

Yeah.....the title basically says it all. My computer is a good one(It can run Skyrim on high) but it keeps overheating and I have to vacuum it out EVERY.SINGLE.DAY. I really don't get it since my room isn't even that dusty(I dust it once a week) and it gets lots of breathing room but it keeps overheating everyday. I'm really not sure what cruel joke is being played on me, but I don't like it.

Weird - you certainly shouldn't have to clean it every day.

Incidentally, is it OK to use a vacuum cleaner to clean inside the case? And if I had a pet, which I don't, I wouldn't let it anywhere near the tower, let alone sleep on it!

Yeah it's usually okay if it's a desktop, Just make sure to use the right kind of head and don't damage any of the microcircuits, also make sure it's off. If you're worried, just put it on reverse and blow out the dust.

You're better off using reverse and keeping your distance, vacuums generate lots of static electricity which could easily fry something. That said, something powerful like a shop-vac on reverse mode can clean out the case just fine without even going close to the components.
