Looking for a <$150 digital camera

I need a camera that is not only good for general photography but can act as a scanner as well (scanning research papers, illustrations out of books, etc...) .

I'm really considering this one right now:

9 megapixels for this price is a pretty sweet deal but I just thought it'd be a smart move to consult my fellow basementers before making a purchase. :original:

You kinda get what you pay for in this department. Probably good for document scanning, but I'd be willing to bet the color quality is pretty poor. PLus according to the specs it has a fixed aperture at an f-stop of 3. Which means that it will only be good under very strict lighting conditions. Too much light and it will wash everything out. Not enough and everything will be too dark. Average outdoor f-stops are usually f5.6+
But it does do MPEG-4 video which is pretty darn good.

Well I definately want to have the versatility to take quality pictures both outdoors and indoors... Any recommendations for another sub $150 camera?
