    Default Angela Merkel profoundly disturbed

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...tter-euro.html

Ahh the Germans turning against this heritic witch.

Angela Merkel was last night said to be ‘profoundly disturbed’ after a poll showed that a majority of Germans want to ditch the struggling euro.
Sources in Berlin said the German chancellor was shocked by the evidence of growing Euroscepticism in her country, at a time when Germany is under huge pressure to bankroll a rescue of the single currency.
The poll in a German newspaper found that 51 per cent of Germans think the country should return to the deutschmark.

It is the first poll to show that more want to leave the euro than stay in it.
Only 29 per cent thought Germany would be better off staying inside the 17-strong eurozone.
The survey also found that 71 per cent of Germans now believe Greece should be booted out of the single currency unless it acts on promises to tackle its huge debts.
Mrs Merkel’s spokesman said she was ‘profoundly disturbed’ by the poll results.

I think the Germans should not have to bail out other countrys and look after themselves.

Germany's more powerful with the Euro, so I think they'll stick with it. Though it must get tiring throwing billions into the endless pit that is Greece.

Why does anyone blame Greece for everything? Look what is happening in Spain , Italy , Portugal .... We all share the same problems . Germany itself made and still makes a lot of money out of the ''bankrupt'' South..

Since when has Germany made any money or income at all in Southern Europe? And indeed, does it justify the unfathomably large bailout said countries are receiving?

Hmm, Germany was shrewd enough to keep its industrial base and not get sucked into the consumer service economy as a replacement.
So it makes real things that it can export and earn money from, Unlike a lot of foolish eurozone countries that bought into the so called smart services industries?
A low valued euro helps exporting nations and puts the brakes on high imports.
Unemployment is low in Germany even though it has reached record high levels in other eurozone countries, That should tell us something.
Germany does have a problem with its private banking and pensions sectors loaning to much cash in dodgy investments abroad, Some 1 trillion euro,s ploughed into eurozone bubbles.
That money may never be recovered if the eurozone collapses.

Hopefully her globalist masters are starting to get a little nervous as well.
