I have noticed after i end my turn it takes forever for it to be my turn again last time i played stainless steel was 6.2 and i am now playing 6.4 has something changed? is there anything i can do to speed up turns?

Apart from removing scripts I don't think there's way to speed up turns but if you play in windowed mode then you can do other stuff while the turns change

Yeah well slow AI turns are what you get with so many scripts going on and such. But it doesn't bother me, 6.4 comes by default in "borderless windowed mode", so if I have a web browser/other program open at the background I can easily alt+tab to that during the AI's turns (and surf in SS forums).
After all, the game has so many cool features now and the AI is so much better that I'm willing to "pay" the extra time for it
