freezing and registry cleaning

I reguraly (once or more times a day) have a pc freeze. Sometimes during games, sometimes just on when surfing, or just reading things. A quick google search learned me that it might be my registry that need cleaning. But then you get a mess of 100's of cleaners, some are free, some are not. some look a bit dodgy. which ones do you guys use?

I've used Eusing Free Registry Cleaner since it was released with no problems.

tried it, but i still get occasional freezing. what could be the cause?

Causes of freezes can be anything. But mostly it's either an incompatible application running in background or a driver or in extreme cases faulty hardware. I would suggest a system restore instead.

In addition to Ishan's post heat could also be a factor. How hot has it been where you live recently? When was the last time you cleaned out your case? Laptop or Desktop? Do you have a program for monitoring you internal temps? Good luck!
